ATTENTION USERS OF earlier Hunters MOD versions
------------------------------------------------------------------
I had no problems with my save game when switching out the ESP file
to Hunters MOD v2.5. Having said that, it is always a good idea to keep
a backup copy of your save game before installing new mods.

NEW IN VERSION 2.5
------------------------------------------------------------------
-Many creatures now drop Bones, Brittle Bones, Large Bones, Ribcage, 
Rawhide Skins, Feathers, Rare Arrowheads and Goblins even carry tools and
materials that can be used with this mod and Axebane_RealHunger25.

-Fletching Tools can be found that allow the creation of many types of
Arrowheads & Arrows, including
Bone, Barbed Bone, Silver, Flint, Obsidian, Ogre's Tooth & Daedroth Tooth.

-Leatherworking Tools can be found that allow the creation of Light Armors
like Hide, Hard Leather & Bone Studded. Rawhide Animal Skins must be turned
into Cured Hide or Tanned Leather before you can craft with it.


HOW TO USE THIS MOD
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Simply go hunting and find some prey. Save the Bones, leave the Brittle
Bones & Ribcages because they are unusable. (Large Bones will be usable
in future versions of the Hunters Mod to create shields and heavy armor)

Then find a set of Leatherworking Tools and some Fletching Tools and you
can start making your own ammunition and armor. Check in all barrels and
crates and you will find some. The tools tell you how much materials you
need for each item you try to make.


HINTS AND TIPS
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-If you cant find the Fletching Tools or Leatherworking Tools keep looking.
Check in the crates and barrels in the Imperial City and you can probably
find a set of tools for free.

-Need Feathers? Try finding some Goblin Shamans, or even goblins from the
Three Feather Clan. Or if your Mercantile is high enough, merchants will
sell you thier Feathers if they have some around.

-Some creatures have more bones. Try hunting Minotaur or even Skeletons
and Zombies and you can possibly find more usable Bones to craft with.


INSTALLATION:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Either you can unzip this file into the Oblvion\Data folder or place
the files manually based on the folders structure within this ZIP file.


COMPATIBILITY
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This mod works fine alongside PlasticFoamMans Unofficial Equipment Rarity
Patch v2.0 and Unofficial Mob Variety Generation v1.0

Any other mods that change creature Leveled Lists will not conflict
unless they alter more than just the "boss" level goblins, zombies,
skeletons, imps, etc.

There is a high chance that other mods besides PFM's Rarity Patch
COULD CONFLICT with this Hunters Mod if it changes a lot of creatures.

DOES A LOT MORE THAN THE THINGS BELOW.

NEW IN VERSION 2.0

-Incorporated a modified version of the Natural Wildlife script originally
written by Tag. My version adds an extra decision check when the player
gets close to the creature. This script adds a lot of life to the creatures
by making them act more realistically instead of just always being hostile.
A big thank you to Tag for letting me use his script!

-Increased the run speed of Deer to prevent players from being able to
outrun them. (note: characters with high athletics and speed can probably
still catch up to Deer)

-Removed the Gold/Lockpick/Spoon loot items from creatures. No more rats
eating gold coins!

-Changed Mudcrabs to passive creatures.

-Tweaked the value of Deer Skins down to 20 and increased the value of
Timber Wolf, Boar, Black Bear & Lion pelts slightly.

-Slightly modified the alchemy effects of the custom meat types (Wolf, Lion
& Bear meat) to make a little more sense for the animal type.

-Fixed an issue with a certain quest that could have caused some frustration.
Thank you to LDones for finding this problem and creating the script to
correct it!

-Created a work-around for another quest that also could have been frustrating.
For details on the quest and the work-around, please scroll to the bottom of
this file. (there is a small spoiler alert also, so dont read if you dont want
to hear about the quest. hint: It will only apply to characters with the
Destruction Magic skill.)



ABOUT THIS MOD:
------------------------------------------------------------------
This mod is for Oblivion players who love to hunt out in the
wilderness of Cyrodiil. Have you ever wished that you could get more
meat from a fresh kill for making healing potions? Have you ever wished
that you could skin the deer you kill and sell thier skins for cash? Don't
you think its stupid that a Wolf Pelt weighs 1 and is worth 10, when a
Mountain Lion Pelt is also worth 10 but weighs 5! Mountain Lions are harder
to kill so why are thier pelts worth less per pound? This mod makes hunting
more profitable and rewarding without being unbalancing.

NOTE: I *highly* reccomend using the Lighter Alchemy Ingreds mod by
dysesothymteric along with this mod. That way you can carry more Venison
meat from your kills for making healing potions. You can find the Lighter
Alchemy Ingreds mod at www.tessource.net in the Oblivion\Gameplay Effects
and Changes section.



WHAT IT ALTERS:
------------------------------------------------------------------
*Incorporates a modified version of the Natural Wildlife script to make
creatures behave more realistically.

*Increases the run speed of Deer.

*Makes Mudcrabs passive creatures.

*Added 1 extra piece of meat to the inventory of Deer creatures and Boar
creatures.

*Created new meat types with full alchemy properties. Wolf Meat, Lion Meat
& Bear Meat.(similar properties to other meat types)

*Created new animal hide items and increased the value of existing hides.
Increase in values based on the creatures level. New hides include: Deer Skin,
Brown Bear Skin, Black Bear Skin, Boar Hide & Timber Wolf Pelt.

*Created new Deer Antler item that only drops on male deer corpses. Sells
for 10 Gold.

The quest to obtain mastery in the Destruction skill requires you to
collect 20 Bear Pelts. Because I created a new Brown Bear Skin item for
the large Brown Bears to drop, players who were fairly high level would
have had trouble finding standard Bear Pelts. (Black Bear Skins)
To work around this problem I tweaked the quest NPC so that she will
accept either 20 Black Bear Skins *OR* 20 Brown Bear Skins. Unfortunately
I was not able to make her take a combination of 20 skins of either type.
One issue/glitch involving this method is that she will take all Bear Skins
from your inventory. So if you have 20 Black Bear Skins and 15 Brown Bear
Skins, then take the Brown Bear skins out of your inventory or she will take
all 35 Bear Skins! If anyone finds a better work-around for this issue please
email me or PM on the official forums!
